

Jillian M. Polanco was born and raised in South Florida. She graduated from Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minored in Criminal Justice, and earned an Academic Certificate in National Security Studies with a specialization in the Middle East.
Ms. Polanco attended Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, in Orlando, Florida. As a law student, she participated in the Juvenile Defense Clinic, serving her local Orlando community by representing at risk youth living in extreme poverty and unstable home environments with mental health issues throughout Orange County, Florida.
She was also a member of the Barry Law’s Women’s Lawyer Association and a member of the Barry Law Trial team. In 2017, Ms. Polanco lived abroad in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Spain, where she studied Transnational Human Trafficking and Comparative Public Health.
Prior to joining firm in May 2023, Ms. Polanco worked at a personal injury firm representing injured civilian contractors seeking workers’ compensation benefits employed outside the United States pursuant to a contract with the United States Government, under the Defense Base Act. Ms. Polanco primarily practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury. Ms. Polanco is also fluent in Spanish.
